Rosella Dahl
Rosella Georgia Dahl, 88, of Isanti, went to her beloved Lord October 20, 2004 at Cambridge Health Care Center.

Services were held Oct. 23 from Strike Funeral Home. Isanti Chapel with Chaplain Karen Roertgen officiating. The Abrahamson Sisters, accompanied by Darlene Fixell, provided the music. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Bellin, Jeff Forcier and Michael D. Winch, Jr. Active pallbearers were Dan and Todd Bellin, Darin Forcier, Ryan and Shawn Hanson and Abel Lipoff. Interment was in Gerdin Cemetery in Athens Township.

She was born May 6, 1916 at Hamdal, N. D. to Thomas and Mary Lindbo. She was baptized and confirmed at Minot, N. D. Rosella married Floyd Williams and they lived in Bagley, MN. They had one son, Leslie; three daughters, Ida, Estella and Mary. They later divorced. On June 1, 1946, Rosella, married Joy A.H. Hanson and they had three sons, Lynn, Thomas and Kenneth Hanson; and nine step-children, Dale, Carl (Bob), Deloris, Joyce, Koreen, Richard, JoAnn, Maysil and Gerald Hanson. They lived at Douglas, N. D., moving to Isanti in 1952. Her husband, Joy, died in 1966. Rosella moved to Cambridge until 1969 when she married Herbert Dahl of Isanti. They lived in rural Isanti. Her husband, Herbert died in 1984. Rosella continued to live in Isanti until moving to Cambridge Health Care Center about four years ago. In earlier years she worked at Luck Poultry in Bethel. From 1962-1965 Rosella and husband Joy Hanson raised 10,000 chicks every nine weeks, all year around. They sold the farm in 1966. She then worked at Cambridge Health Care Center for a few years. Rosella and her grandson, Shawn Hanson, shared the same birthday and they celebrated birthdays together for 19 years. Rosella was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Weber. She loved dancing, cooking, fishing, bowling and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Williams, Joy Hanson and Herbert Dahl; sisters, Maurrine Varty and Carol Brunner; brothers, Leo, Everett and Tubin Lindbo; sons, Leslie Williams and Kenneth Hanson; grandson, Cody Husby; step-daughter, Maysil Hanson; step-sons, Dale, Carl (Bob) and Gerald Hanson.

She is survived by children, Ida (Kenny) Bellin of Isanti, Estella (Michael) Winch of Sacramento, CA, Mary Forcier and Rollo Griemman of Buffalo, WY, Lynn (Priscilla) Hanson of Isanti, Thomas A. (Melinda) Hanson of Isanti; step-children, Deloris (Joe) Feldman of Diamond Springs, CA, Joyce (Bill) Carter of Miles, Iowa, Koreen Gerdin and Don Paulson of Bethel, Richard (Dorothy) Hanson of Des Moines, Iowa, JoAnn (Delbert) Heckenlaible of Lodi, CA; brothers, Myron (Pete) Lindbo of Utah, Willard (Tuni) Lindbo of Washington; sisters, Coyla Varti and Ruby Williams both of North Dakota; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
