Leo Willis Reeves, 70, farmer, rancher and church leadeder, dedd of an apparent heart attack at his home, Wednesday, Dec. 15.
Mr. Reeves grew in the Shinnery Commnnity. He still farmed and raised cattle there. He had moved into Wellington in 1968. An active member of the Assembly of God for many years, be was a deacon 30 years, Sunday School Superintendent and taught an adult Sunday school class 28 years.
He was born April 24, 1912, at Granite, OK, the son of Thomas Decary Reeves and Annie Estell Bynum Reeves. The family came to Collingsworth County in 1913.
Surviving Mr. Reeves are two sisters, Mrs. Ina Tatum of Wellington and Mrs. Edna Van Matre of Greeley, CO, and brother, Cecil Reeves of Odessa, and a number of nieces and nephews.
