1870 Bloomington IL: AMES Fisher J/37, Julia/27/Maine, William R/9/MN, Nathaniel/8, Alba/7, George F/4, Julia/3 are in home of AMES Anna M/61 and several other Ames family members.

Fisher and Julia apparently divorced soon after this census as Fisher's son, Wilburn, with second wife Emily Tyson, was born in 1873.

Julia died 1899, Calhoun MO., where her son Nathaniel lived, and where it was thought she was interred (Calhoun Cem). It is unclear why she has a large monument in Green Ridge Cem., Pettis Co. MO.
