W.C. Bryarly, a highly respected citizen of this city, died Saturday morning about 9:30 o'clock from heart failure at his home on North 15th street. Mr. Bryarly had been in poor health for some time, and at times was in a very critical condition, but for the past few days he had been about the house and yard, and no immediate fears were felt for his life.
Mr. Bryarly was a Virginian by birth and was about 65 years old. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Misses Lula and Sallie Bryarly, both of this city.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home. The services were conducted by Rev. Warren P. Clark of the Baptist church.
