Arnold Obituary in Alton Newspaper:

Mrs. Patricia Jean Arnold, 27, of 317 Rohm Place, Roxana, was pronounced dead on arrival about 11:30 a.m., Thursday at Wood River Township Hospital, where she was taken following a two-car crash on Rte. 111 south of South Roxana.
She was the manager of the Shelbar of South Roxana.
Born in Alton, August 21, of 1942, she was a daughter of the late Mrs. Imogene Carson.
Survivors include her husband Donald Arnold of Alton, whom she married Dec. 23, 1967; her father, Roy Carson of South Roxana; a daughter, Terri Eubanks at home; a son, Greg Eubanks at home; a brother, Mike Carson of Roxana; and a sister, Pamela Carson of Roxana.
The body is at Marks Mortuary, Wood River, where visitation will begin after 7 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary, with interment following in Valhalla Memorial Park.

Two women were killed and a man seriously injured about 11 a.m. Thursday in a two-car crash on Rte. 111, north of Mitchell, according to state police.
Dead are the driver of one of the cars, Evelyn Bunker, 38, of 904 Park, South Roxana, and a passenger, Mrs. Patricia Arnold, 27, of 317 Rohm Place, Roxana.
Another passenger, Miss Pamela Carson, 16, of 317 Rhom Place, Roxana, sister of Mrs. Arnold, was injured. She was reported in satisfactory condition today at Wood River Township Hospital.
Driver of the second vehicle, William Dowler, 22, of 511 Norwood, Collinsville was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where his condition was listed as "serious to critical." He was transferred to Jewish Hospital and was said to be in fair condition late this morning.
State police said the northbound Bunker auto swerved into the southbound lane, colliding with the oncoming Dowler car.
