She was a graduate of Lees-MacRae College of Nursing and retired from Bristol Urological Associates. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, James H. Cox; two sisters, Gertrude Lane of Elizabethton, TN, and Dimple Jones of Welch, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The Rev. John Farmer will officiate.
The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Glenwood Cemetery.
Oakley-Cook Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
