She was married in 1913 to George Emil Schwenn who passed away in 1947. They farmed in the Middleton/Cross Plains area for many years and later they resided in Pheasant Branch. In 1949 she married Clarence Field of Madison. They were owner/operators of Riverside Floral in Fort Atkinson for ten years.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Middleton for many years and was later and until her death a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Verona.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Erwin and Howard; and grandsons, Tom Schwenn and Tom Timmons.
