Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. Shirley Ditto; three sons - Jim Cearley, Keith Cearley, Ted Cearley; two sisters - Mrs. Dale Carter and Mrs. Earlene Grisham; two brothers - Allen Cearley and Donald Cearley; five grandchildren.
Roy Newton Cearley was a veteran of World War II.
