LEWIS MIKE GREINER, 55, of 115 Willard St., Minoa, died yesterday at Veterans Administration Hospital.
He was a life resident of Minoa and a brakeman for Penn Central Railroad. A veteran of World War II, he served in Europe.
Mr. Greiner was a member of Minoa American Legion Post 1102 and the United Transportation Union, Lodge 292.
He was a communicant of St. Marys Church, Minoa.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Greiner of East Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Frank Cretaro of Minoa, and several nieces and nephews.
His late sister, Mrs. Ethel Costello, was the mother of former Syracuse National and Philadelphia Warrior pro basketball star Larry Costello. He now coaches the Milwaukee Bucks.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Russell H. Schepp Funeral Home, 109 East Ave., Minoa, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Marys Church. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Minoa.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
