CLARKSDALE- Magnolia Merrell, 62, died Monday, December 5, 2005, at her daughter's residence in Clarksdale.
Services were Saturday at Rose Chapel Church of God in Christ. Burial was in Askew Grove Cemetery. Delta Burial Corporation had charge.
Merrell, born June 2, 1943, in Gulfport, was a member of Shiloh Church of God in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her mother Lula S. Merrell; two brothers, Alzie Merrell and L.C. Merrell; one sister Brinda Merrell and one daughter Brinda Merrell.
Survivors include seven daughters, Patricia Merrell of Tutwiler, Carol Merrell of Crenshaw, Daphne Merrell and Lula Allen, both of Crenshaw, Chashonda Davis of Horn Lake, and Jacqueline Merrell and Stephanie Merrell, both of Crenshaw; three sons, Fredrick Merrell, Kerry Merrell and Brian Merrell, all of Crenshaw and her father, Dorsey Merrell Sr. of Crenshaw.
