Mrs. Assunta Baratta, 62, of 213 Summit Av., died at the Medical Center yesterday. She succumbed after a short illness. Born in Italy, Mrs. Baratta made her home in Jersey City the past 40 years and was a member of St. Aedan's Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Orazio Baratta; five daughters, Mrs. Filomena Occhilupo, Mrs. Madeline DiGiovanni, Mrs. Rose Rorra and Mrs. Nancy Turano and Miss Mary Baratta; four sons, Patrick John, Peter and George Baratta, and a sister, Mrs. Antonia Mastrogiovanni.
