OBITUARY:

"PARKER A. COUCH DIED AT AGE OF 72

Funeral Services Will be from
Chapel of Norman Funeral
Home Thursday.

The death of Parker A. Couch, 72 occured at his home, 102 East Herriman Street Monday evening at 10:50 o'clock following an illnessof two weeks. Mr. Couch has, been a semi-invalid since February of 1908, when he was crippled by a railroad accident*. He had not been able to be away from home the past five years.
Parker Allen Couch, a son of the late Joel and Elizabeth Patterson Couch, was born at Chillicothe, Missouri on August 28, 1875. He received his education at the Chillicothe public schools, and afterwards he went to work for the Milwaukee railroad here. He was married to Miss Mabel E. Harrison at Chillicothe on August 18, 1909. They have lived at their present residence for the past thirty six years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Leonard C. Couch, and Clyde Couch both of Chillicothe, and Eugene Couch, who is in the U.S. Maritime Service aboard the S.S. Horace See; three daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Thompson and Mrs. Doris Caldwell, both of Long Beach, California, and Miss Lorine Couch of the home; one brother, Clarence Couch of Fallon, Nevada, one sister, Mrs. Ida Woods of Roach, Missouri; and four grandchildren. Six brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the Chapel of the Norman Funeral Home. The Rev. Clifford Gannon pastor of the First Assembly of God will conduct the services.
Interment will be made In the Couch family lot in Edgewood Cemetery."
