FORMER CHILLICOTHEAN
DIES IN KANSAS

Mrs. Ida Wood
[sic], former resident of Chillicothe, died Saturday at her home in Baldwin, Kan. according to word received by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Couch, 102 Herriman street.

Funeral services were held this morning in Baldwin and interment was in Maple Hill cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Wood, a daughter of Joe Couch & Elizabeth Couch, was born in Chillicothe and educated in the Chillicothe public schools. She was married to Pete Wood [sic] in 1905*. He preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Tadlock, Baldwin, and a son Kenneth Wood [sic], Kansas City.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and a son.

*Peter & Ida were actually married on Oct. 7, 1907 in the home of her parents in Chillicothe, Missouri.

The son who preceded her in death was Richard Woods (1921-1927).
