Blanche Beverly Harding was born February 13, 1913, in Bay City, to Everette and Juliette"Dotty"(Tyler) Harding. She was a graduate of Red Wing High School and a 1935 graduate of River Falls College. She taught rural school at Forest Home, Bay City and Harding schools in Pierce County. She married Arnold G Harding on June 19, 1937, in Miami, Florida. They lived in Bay City until moving to Red Wing in 1940. Since 1946, they lived in Diamond Bluff. He died on December 5, 1983. She was a member of Diamond Bluff United Methodist Church, where she played piano and organ for mamy years. She was a member of Pierce County Historical Society and contributed photographs to both Goodhue and Pierce County Historical Societies. She enjoyed flower gardening, quilting, bird watching and music. Blanche died Friday, September 23, 2005, at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 10 days.

Survivors include three sons, Dennis(Karen) Harding of Red Wing, MN, William(Barb) Harding of Diamond Bluff, WI, Alan(Pat) Harding of Hager City, WI; one daughter, Diane(Lynn Carter) Harding of Woodbury, MN; two sisters, Jane Funk of Bay City, WI, and Juliette Schoeneck of Rhinelander, WI; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold; two brothers, Donovan and Ralph Harding; two sisters Bernice Bowen and Muriel Edmondson.
