Jerry Willard Anderson, 73, of Loma, Montana, passed away at his home of natural causes on August 20, 2012.

A remembrance will be held in Hamilton on September 8, 2012, at the Eagles Lodge at 3 p.m. A memorial will be held in Loma at a later date.

Jerry was born October 2, 1938, in Great Falls, Montana. After graduating from Stevensville High School, he joined the United States Army, serving in the Korean conflict, where he was honorably discharged. In 1965, he married Barbara Bardwell; they later divorced. He had a lengthy career in the road construction field, where he retired from the Western Federal Lands Highway Division with 29 years of dedicated service.

Jerry lived life to the fullest, whether hunting and fishing with family, or playing Keno with a bottle of Bud, his cigarettes and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshal Anderson and Dorothy Christianson; and his sister, Melinda. Survivors include sons, Scott Rotering, of Corvallis, MT; and Kris Anderson, of Hamilton, MT; daughter, Kary (Dan) Dory, of Arizona; grandsons: Nash Dory and Kris and Kyle Anderson; brothers: Jim, Duke and Dennis; sisters: June Osburn and Mary Reeves; along with Steve and Loni Witt and the entire town of Loma.
