He was born at Royenton Plains, on the Monocacy Manor, near Rocky Ridge, Frederick County, MD. He inherited a forth of his fathers estate at Royenton Plains as his three brothers.

(3.) Leah Pittinger.
(4.) Crane Pittinger.
(5.) John Wesley Pittinger, married Julia Ann Gibson,
removed to Tiffin OH.
(6.) Daniel Pittinger, married Mary Cookerly.
(7.) James Pittinger, married Jane Gibson, removed to OH.
(8.) Henry Pittinger.
(9.) Jeremiah M. Pittinger, married Mary A Gibson removed to OH.
(10.) Mary Pittinger.
(11.) Prudence Pittinger.
(12.) Benjamin Pittinger, married first and Theresa Creeger were married on 9 Sep. 1825 in Maryland. After her death in 1847 he married Mary Ann Hunter, removed to OH.
