There were no children still in the home at that time, so it is unknown how many children Ludolph and Sophia had other than Christian.
Ludolph's wife Sophia passed away in 1873 in Fayetteville, ILL., and I'm relatively sure she was buried in Darmstadt Memorial Cemetery. She was last found in the 1865 census.
