Verna Hicks McNew, aged 39, beloved wife of James McNew, of Bellville, daughter of Wilbur and Elsie Hicks; sister of Mrs. Edward (Ethel) Hartsel (Hartzell), Mrs. John (Mary Edna) Jones, Mrs. Bernard (Louella Grace) Rairie, Wilbur, Lloyd (Floyd) and Howard Hicks, all of Rural Valley, PA., passed away at General hospital Thursday afternoon. Now at Jones Memorial where services will be held Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. J. A. Wilkerson, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
