Funeral service was held November 7, 1968, at the Church of Christ in Steele for Mrs. Lennie Lue Ketchum, 67, who died November 5,1968, at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Judson Woodbridge officiated.

Mrs. Ketchum was born February 15, 1901, in Steele, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Perry Burton.
She was united in marriage to C.F. Ketchum at Steele on August 9, 1917, and to this union four children were born. Her husband preceded her in death on October 30, 1963, as did a son, Harold Ketchum, who died January 30, 1968.

She leaves two sons, Herbert Ketchum and Ralph "Doc" Ketchum of Steele; one daughter, Mrs. Hollis Wimberley of Ft. Smith, Ark.; and two sisters, Mrs. Onie Graham and Mrs. Mae Walls of Portageville. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chester Barnes, Vernon Ray, Austin Pfeffer, Clyde Southern, Mike Riddick, and Tommy German.

Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
