She md. 1826 Joseph Henry Hartshorne Throckmorton b. Prince Edward Island Mar. 3, 1788 per age on t.s., son of J. and Margaret. He d. Nov. 7, 1862 age 74-8-4, bur. Norwich Village Cem.
The 1851/2 census of North Norwich shows him age 64, English Methodist b. PEI which confirms t.s. age. A reported alternate birthdate of 1744 must be wrong. Adeline was 50, English Methodist, b. US. Living with them was his nephew Charles Delong (1-9-6-7-5-4) age 11, b. US. He had been born soon after his father arrived in Mich., sent back to Canada when the father went to California with the '49ers.
In Norwich Tp. 1861, Joseph was 73 b. PEI, she was 60 b. US, now a Quaker (probably she was really Quaker in 1851 also). With them was niece Ann Delong (1-9-6-7-5-5) age 16 b. US. She had not been sent back to Canada as early as her brother Charles mentioned earlier; she is found in Mich. in 1850 with friends.
