Theodore Backus of Lima was kicked in the forehead by a horse on Wednesday last week... and it is thought fatally injuring him.

Mr. Theodore Backus of Lima, who was so seriously injured by the kick of a horse on the 23d of last July, died on Monday afternoon. He was buried Wednesday under Masonic auspices.

Theodore Backus of Lima, who was kicked in the forehead by a horse some weeks since, died on the first inst. He was a man of vigorous physical organization which gave some hope of his ultimate recovery, and it is wonderful how long he survived the terrible injury. He was a son of A. J. Backus, a prominent citizen of South Livonia, and leaves a wife and several children.
