Garnett Clifton Fowler, 90, widower of Arvena Jones Fowler, died Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born July 3rd, 1929 in Washington County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clifton Richard and Myrtle Moore Fowler. He was a retired maintenance technician at Corning Glass Works, Inc. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII. He was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and was a member for over 40 years of the Mercer Lodge #777 F&AM.

Survivors include two sons; Michael Wayne Fowler of Harrodsburg and Danny Mark Fowler of Lexington, Kentucky, and one niece, Shirley Ann. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Earl W. Fowler and Harold Fowler, and one sister, LaVerne Fowler.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 5th, 2020, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Paul Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Burgin Memorial Gardens.
