HARRODSBURG - Richard Clinton Fowler, 73, retired owner of Fowler's Nursing Home here, died at 12:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his home on North College Street of an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Washington County and a member of Shawnee Run Baptist Church.
Survivors are three sons. Earl W. Fowler and Harold B. Fowler, both of Burgin, and Garnett Fowler, Harrodsburg; a daughter, Miss Laverne Fowler, Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Estelle Barnett, Burgin; a half-sister, Mrs. Cecil Keeling, Harrodsburg; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday at Bruner and Sims Funeral Home here by the Rev. Gilbert Shely. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. The body is at the funeral home.
