Services were 4 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 1993, at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee with burial in Sharon Cemetery in Magee.
Mims Mitchell of Magee handled the arrangements.
Mr. Higgins was a native of Simpson County.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Higgins of Mt. Olive; sister-in-laws, Emma Higgins of Mt. Olive, Willie Mae King of Magee, Lucy Reeves of Forest, Ethel Rainer of Mendenhall; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of relative and friends.
Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
