Wiliam F. Brandes, 38, 927 E. Eldorado St, died Tuesday evening after a five month's illness. He was born in Hilbert and for the past eighteen years had made his home in Appleton. Survivors are the widow, one son, Arony, two daughters, Adeline and Eldora, Appleton; his mother, Mrs. Augusta Brandes, Hilbert; two brothers, Herman, Hilbert; and Louis, Reedsville; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Hackbarth, Hilbert; Mrs. Albert Lautenschlager, Center; Mrs. Gust Loose, Hilbert. The body may be viewed at the Brettschneider Funeral home from Thursday evening until Friday noon when it will be removed to the residence. The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the residence and at 1:30 from St. Paul Lutheran church. The Rev. F. M. Brandt will officiate and burial will take place in St. Peter cemetery, Hilbert.
