BORGER - Eugene Massengale, 65, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Massengale was born in Lynn County and lived in Borger 47 years. During the Korean War he served in the Navy. He was an industrial spray painter and a Baptist.
He married Phyllis Barnett in 1968 at Borger.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy Massengale and Robert Massengale, both of Borger, and Bill Ackors of Amarillo; three daughters, Lynn Lanham of Panhandle, Teena Sanchery of Ogden, Utah, and Kimberly Ivy of Borger; a brother, A.J. Massengale of Borger; two sisters, Juanita Ketner of Mesquite and Anita Massengale of Alabama; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
