MCKINLEY, SARAH JANE, age 81, of Bessemer, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008. She was a member at Good Springs Full Gospel Church of God for 54 years. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed her flowers and vegetables. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with interment following at Rock Creek Cemetery. Rev. Ben Godwin officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will C. McKinley. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her: daughters, Barbara Johnston (Lawrence) and Linda Ruth Burton (Gary); sons, Will McKinley Jr. and David McKinley (Kathy); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers; and many loving extended family and friends. Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home is honored to serve the McKinley family.
