Cornelius W. Cahalane, age 62
2141 Benninghofen avenue, died
of a heart ailment Wednesday
morning, 7 o'clock, in Mercy hospital.
He had not been confined
to his bed until 10 days ago.
Mr. Cahalane was born in Hamilton,
December 20, 1887 and lived
his entire life in this community.
He was a faithful employe of the
Baltimore and Ohio railroad for
25 years.
Quiet and unassuming, he had
many friends. He was devoted to
his home and family and was a
member of St. Ann Catholic
church and various men's societies
of the parish. He was affiliated
with Butler Aerie No. 407, Fraternal
Order of Eagles.
Mr. Cahalane leaves two sons
Neal Cahalane, Eaton, Dan. Cahalane,
Hamilton; two daughters
Mrs. Elmer Fischer, Tucson
Ariz., Cecelia Cahalane, Hamilton
; four sisters, Mrs. Nell Von
der Haar, Mrs. William Fredcricks,
Mrs. Jack Kaeser and Mrs
Joseph Fischer, all of Hamilton
three grandchildren and many
friends. His wife, Mrs. Bertha
Cahalane, died in 1924.

street, in charg
