CAHALANE, Cornelius M. "Neil" Age 93 of Eaton, Ohio passed away at his home Sunday, September 18, 2016. Born September 23, 1922 he was a son to the late Cornelius W. & Bertha (Logedrost) Cahalane. Neal loved the outdoors; fishing, rock collecting and hunting. He was a decorated WWII Army veteran, having served from 1942-1946. He was involved in the "battle of the bulge" and the "European Theater". Neil was a lifelong member of the Teamsters; member of the American Legion, Eaton; AMVETS in Eldorado; VFW in Eaton; and the Eagles in Eaton. He enjoyed spending time with family; and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter JoAnn Baker and sister Cecelia Cuzzart.Survived by daughter Barbara & Robert Arnett: sister Loretta M. Fischer: 6 grandchildren: 7 great- grandchildren: 10 great- great grandchildren: as well as many acquaintances, family members and friends.
