Annetta "Joyce" Petit former Seminole county resident passed away April 17, 2012 at the age of 73. Joyce was residing in Jacksonville, FL at the time of her death. She was born, June 27, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK to Woodrow Merle & Ruby Mae(Marchant)Foster. Joyce moved from California to Seminole where she was a resident for 41 years. She retired from the Seminole county school system, she was a member of the Maud Assembly of God and the OK Teachers Retirement System.
Joyce married Bonnie I.Petit on Oct 10, 1953 in Archer City, TX. Bonnie preceded her in death on Nov 4, 2007.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy W. Petit of Pottsboro, TX, a daughter, Sherry L. Griffith of Jacksonville, FL,her twin sister, June Douthit of Seminole, OK, 4 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
