Fred Benjamin Younker was the son of Nick and Louise Pfunder Younker of Sedalia, Missouri. Fred Younker was a fireman with the Sedala and LA Fire Departments. He also played semi-pro baseball for many years. He and wife Addie Gipson had 6 children: Rubert, Audrey, Florence, Roy, Ralph and Betty.
