Ella Marie Martin Beck 86, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998 at Wesley Care Center.
Graveside service is 3 pm Saturday, Oct. 3 at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 this evening at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service.
A Monroe, NC native, Mrs. Beck retired as a saleslady from Belk at SouthPark. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Louis Beck, and two sons, Jerry Brock Beck and William Covington Beck, Sr.
Survivors include two sons, John Beck and his wife, Sue, of Hillsborough, NC, and David Beck and his wife, Judy, of Matthews; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Pat Beck of Charlotte, and Mrs. Editha Beck of Myrtle Beach; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church Music Department, 6050 Hickory Grove Road, Charlotte, NC 28215.
