Gary Haub, 65, Corydon, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at his home.

Born Sept. 3, 1947, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Rita Rose Baumann Haub.

He was a school teacher and coach for South Harrison Community School Corp. for 40 years and a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church, Indiana State Teachers Association and Ducks Unlimited.

Survivors include his wife, the former Terry Parks; a son, Eric Kenneth Haub of Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Ashley Haub Cassell of Terre Haute; a sister, Teri Robbeloth-Marshall of Palmyra; and two grandchildren.

Visitation: Thursday, Sept. 13, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon and Friday, Sept. 14, after 9 a.m. at Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.

Funeral: Friday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. at the church with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.

Officiants: Pastors Andy Hansen and Doug Finney.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the Gary Haub Scholarship Fund held at the Harrison County Community Foundation.
