HAUB - Rita Baumann, 89, passed away June 21, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Rita was born in New Albany, IN on May 29, 1922 to the late William and Mable Sprigler Baumann. She was married to the late Benjamin Kenneth Haub for over 50 years. They operated the John Deere Store in Corydon, IN. Rita enjoyed playing golf and was a member of St. Michael's Church in Bradford. She was preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Richard Bauman. She is survived by five siblings, Ruth Davis and Pat Haub (Bud) of Palmyra, Mildred Barmore of New Albany, IN, Alvin Baumann of Floyds Knobs, IN and Melvin Baumann (Teresa), of Fairdale, KY; daughter, Teri Robbeloth-Marshall (Von) of Palmyra; son, Gary Haub (Terry), of Corydon; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Viewing will be at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra on Friday, from 2-8 p.m. The funeral service will be at St. Michael's Church in Bradford at 10 a.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Michael's Building Fund.
