MARGARET E. ALEXANDER

A funeral for Margaret E. Alexander, a Tigard resident, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Young's Funeral Home in Tigard. Private interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Mrs. Alexander died of causes related to age Wednesday in a Tualatin hospital. She was 91.

Born April 15, 1899, in Raglan Township, Iowa, she moved to Oregon from Missouri Valley, Iowa, in 1939. Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker. She lived at Rose Lodge in the Lincoln City area for about 20 years before moving to Tigard in the late 1970s. Her husband, C.F. ''Tobe'' Alexander, died in 1978.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Holton of Tigard; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Oregon Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association.
