Mr. Robert Sidney Asher of Boerne, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 1995, just six days before his 72nd birthday. He was born June 27, 1923, in Leon Springs.
Mr. Asher is survived by his wife Betty Asher of Boerne, his daughter Betty Diane Rhodes of San Antonio, and his son Thomas Sidney Asher of Fischer. Other survivors are his three grandsons; his sisters, Lois Widner of St. Bernard, Louisiana, and Jeannie Gombert of Boerne; and his brothers, Hugh Asher of San Antonio, Joe Asher of Boerne and Cecil Asher of Kendalia.
Funeral services Friday, June 23, at Ebensberger Funeral Home were officiated by the Rev. Phineas Washer and the Rev. Ed Dawkins. Internment was in the Boerne Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Phil Asher, Richard Asher, Ronnie Wood, Wayne Asher, Joey Asher and Ford Lauer.
