He was preceded in death by his Wife Shirley, of 41 years; survived by his Son Edward (Cathy), 2 grandsons Michael (Melanie) and Matthew, 3 great- grandchildren, Maelyn, Marcus and Macy. Born in Jamaica, New York, he served with the 16th Armored Engineers, US Army from 1941 to 1945, receiving the Purple Heart. He worked as a heavy duty mechanic. Upon retirement, he enjoyed traveling the country. Visitation, Monday September 10th, 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P M. with prayer service at 5:00 P.M. at Harrison Ross Mortuaries 738 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404. Burial, Tuesday September 11th, at 0:00 A.M. Montecito Memorial Park, Colton. in lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in his name are requested.
