Mrs. Nelson was born September 24, 1862, in Fulton County, Illinois, a daughter of William and Mary Jane Livingston. She married Charles Christian Nelson July 26, 1888, at Fulton County, Illinois. Their union was blessed by six children.
Mrs. Nelson is survived by five children: two daughters, Mrs. Azbell of Ipava, Mrs. Nellie Hogon of Lewistown, and three sons, Sherman A. Nelson and Dewey V. Nelson, both of Rock Island, and Chester Nelson of Davenport. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson, of Rock Island.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Ipava with burial following at Waterford Cemetery, Sepo, Illinois.
