Date of death for James was listed as 10/9/1911 in the Wayne County cemetery books published by Doris Bland in 1993, however a family member reported that the death was in 1914 and I found two brief obituaries from that year:

From the Wayne County Record, 12/10/1914:
James Hughey Neaville was born March 16th, 1880. Was Married to Doney [sic] Clevenger Oct. 28, 1906; to this union was born four children, three boys and one girl. He professed faith in Christ in in [sic] Feb. 1907 and united with the Richland Christian church. At the date of death he was 34 years, 7 months and 8 days old. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. James Whitson.

From the Wayne County Press, 11/5/1914:
Hugh Neaville, a resident of Sims was a buried at Bovee cemetery Monday, having died of typhoid fever. He was about 35 years of age and is survived by a wife and child. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. James Whitson.

Note the contradictions in the articles. In checking, it appears that they had four children.
