OLTON - Funeral services for Lavesta Hyman, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with burial in Olton Cemetery.
Mrs. Hyman died at 9:06 p.m. Sunday, Mar 26, 2000, in Baptist Saint Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo. She was born Aug. 4, 1915, in Martha, Okla. She moved from Martha to the Olton area in 1929. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
On May 23, 1933, she married Elbert Hyman in Clovis, N.M. He died in 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Lewis Hyman and Leo Hyman; a daughter, Martha Bearden; a sister, Margie Sampler; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
