Born in Yugoslavia. Bill fought in WWII. After the war, he met and married Maria Krizaj in Trieste Italy. They had two children, Bozidar and Milorad. They emigrated to live in Gary, Lake County Indiana. They later divorced and Maria moved with the children to Brazil. Bill remarried to Pat Bauswell and they had two children, Stephanie (Hedgepath) and Steven Ivanovich. Bill was a tool and die maker and traveled to other countries on occasion for work, including Mexico and Germany. He spoke several languages. He lived and worked for many years in Providence Rhode Island. He retired to a small apartment in the middle of a corn field in Frankfort Indiana.
