Mr. Lucian O. Milby, son of the late Mr. Otha Green Milby and Mrs. Emma Alice Foster Milby, was born December 7, 1922, in Green County and departed this life on Monday, January 10, 1994, at his home in Green County. He was 71 years, one month and three days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Margie Marie Judd on December 24, 1941, who survives. To this union was born one daughter, Alice Ann Clark, of Greensburg. He is also survived by his son-in-law: Chris Clark of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Cole Clark and Katie Clark, both of Greensburg; two sisters; Vanese Vaughn of Summersville. and Til Stearman of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Rudell Vaughn and Valene Gilkeson; and one brother: Foster H. Milby. The funeral services for Mr. Lucian 0. Milby were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Wilson Cemetery. Rev, John Blakey and Rev. Lester Carter officiated. Pallbearers were Arthur Chaudoin, George Cowherd, Jr.; Robert Price, Charlie Penick; Jim Curry, Tim Stumph and Winfred Beams.
