RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Mrs. Edna Ainslie, 83, of Richfield Springs RD 3, and wife of William Ainslie, died Wednesday in her home after a long illness. She was born in Richfield Springs on her family homestead and farm, daughter of Chester and Emma Pickens McRorie. She was first married to Walter McLean in Cooperstown. He died in 1922. She was later married to William Ainslie in Cooperstown. The couple operated a dairy farm in the Upper Fly Creek Valley for many years.

She leaves her husband, three sons, Leo N. McLean, James S. Ainslie and Harold D. Ainslie all of Richfield Springs.
The funeral will be at 11 Saturday from the Ingalls, Connell and Dow Funeral Home in Cooperstown with burial in the Fly Creek Cemetery.
