Mrs. Vivian B. Crane, 80, funeral will be he held Thursday with burial in
Prospect Hill cemetery. She died July 28 at the home of her daughter in
Eureka, California. She was born Feb. 2, 1894 at Nelson, Nebraska.
She was married on Jan. 22, 1942 to Dr. William Crane, a Norfolk dentist.
He died on Feb. 28, 1958. She was survived by 1 son James Wright at
San Leon, Texas; 1 daughter Mrs. Robert {Claudene} Griffith at Eureka,
California; 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 5 step children:
William Crane at Arcadia, California; Richard Crane at Baldwin Park,
California; Mrs. Ray Peeples at Grand Junction, Colorado; Brad Crane and
Mrs. Lewis Nordyke at Norfolk. She has lived with her daughter in California
for the past two years.
