Myers Resident's Rites Are Today
Joseph Bettle, 62, Dies in Forsyth

FORSYTH, MT. Feb. 11. ---- Funerals services will be conducted at the Rancher Church at 2 p.m. Monday for Joseph Bettle, 62, resident of the Myers Community for 38 years.
He died at the Rosebud Community Hospital in Forsyth Friday night after a short illness.

Mr. Bettle was born in Pilot Mound, MN., June 11, 1888, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bettle.
His youth was spent in Minnesota.

He came to Howard, MT., in 1908, and in 1912 homesteaded in Pease Bottom near Myers, MT.

He married Mary Criswell at Roundup, MT., on march 31, 1923.

He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

The Rev. John L. Hurrie, pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church
at Hysham, will officiate at the final rites.

Burial will be in the Rancher Cemetery, Myers, MT.

Pallbearers will be Joe Curtis, Walter Isaac, Alfin Muri, Leo Cunningham, Clarence Van Luvanee and Henry De Cock

Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Luella Bettle of Lewistown, MT., and Mrs. Mildred Greene of Billings, MT.; two sons, James Bettle of Cheyenne Agency, S.D., and William Bettle of Hobson, MT., and a grandchild.

Also surviving are two brothers John Bettle of Norris and Lawrence Bettle of Myers;
three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Greenley and Miss Lavin Bettle of Casper, WY., and Miss Margaret Bettle
of Billings, MT.
