Mrs. Frances Wells Wilson, 82, died Sunday afternoon (July 18, 2004) at Satilla Regional Medical Center following a long illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County and a daughter to the late Roland Wells and Grace Sweat Wells and the wife of the late Herbert S. Wilson ;; also preceded in death by a sister, Delores Barrs of Augusta.
She was a homemaker and attended Telmore Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The survivors include three sons,
Roger Wilson (wife Mary Ann) of Millwood,
Jerry S. Wilson (wife Linda) of Waresboro, and
Dickie Wilson (Rhonda) of Millwood;
five grandchildren,
Terry Wilson (wife Robin) of Waycross, Paula Stewart (husband Deen) of Waycross, Eric Wilson (wife Cindy) of Macon, Nathan Wilson (wife Audrey) of Augusta, and Gary Mobley of Millwood;
10 great grandchildren;
a sister, Edna Meintzer of Albuquerque, NM;
a brother, Charles Wells of Waycross;
an aunt, Doris Ritter of Waycross;
and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday (July 20, 2004) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday night from 7 until 9 o'clock. Memorialization will be by cremation.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice Satilla, 1921 Alice St., Suite A-1, Waycross, GA 31501.
