AGNES L. "GRANNY" HANKE, 77, died Monday at her home. She was the former Agnes Pate, a native of Cloverport. Survivors: her husband, Alvin Hanke; three daughters, June H. Johnson of Lexington, Alice Wimberg and Shirley Monks; four brothers, Louis Pate of Owensboro, William Pate of Paducah, Leo Pate of Cloverport and John Pate; five sisters, Lois Kraus of Tell City, Ind., Martine Dorth, Edith Weber, Edna Hanke and Alice Hanke; and six grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, 1-9 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy: Hospice of Louisville.
