ELSTAN PAUL HANKE, 49, died Sunday at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. He was a retired machine operator and a member of Faith Assembly Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Carolyn Stonecipher; daughters, Angela Perry and Laura Tishendorf; sons, Shawn P. and Adam S. Hanke; his mother, Edna Hanke; brothers, David and Larry Hanke; sisters, Joyce Craig, Judy Hutchins, Mary Dale Gue and Wanda Shelley; and three grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, his church, Jeffersonville, Ind. Burial: Eastern Cemetery, Jeffersonville. Visitation: W. G. Hardy Shively, 4101 Dixie Highway, 1-8 p.m. Monday.
