J D Andrews, 68, Dies Suddenly

Funeral services for John David Andrews, 68, native of Chickasaw county who died at his home in Cleveland, Miss., at 8:30 Tuesday night of a sudden heart attack, were to be conducted at 2 this afternoon (Thursday) from Norman Funeral Home.

The Rev. J F Hartley will officiate. Interment will be in William Cemetery in Pontotoc county with Norman Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers are: D E Lester, Keith Holliday, Bud Turner, C F Brown, Edward Brown, and Ruben Byars.

Mr. Andrews, an accountant, was born Aug. 13, 1890, the son of W H Andrews and Mattie Savely Andrews. He was a Baptist.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Winnie Brown Andrews of Cleveland; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Moses and Mrs. Scottie Smith, both of Cleveland, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Susie Bullard of Houlka; two brothers, W F, and Leroy Andrews, both of Houlka, and five grandchildren.

In listing the survivors of J D Andrews in last week's issue of this newspaper, the name of his only son, J D Andrews, Jr., of Greenville, Miss., was inadvertently omitted.
