Interment followed at Mount Crest Abbey Mauseleum, Salem. Mrs. Bartu died Friday, Jan. 8 at Sunset Care Center. Born on Feb. 20, 1885 in Howard county, Neb., she lived most of her life in Scio, Ore. area. She lived with a niece, Frances Roner, Albany for the last 6 1/2 years. She married Joseph F. Bartu on Nov. 19, 1909 in Albany. He died Oct. 10, 1943. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
